WHY I'M RUNNING
My background
I was born and raised here in San Diego. Simply put, I am running because I love my schools and my community. I want to see all students in the La Mesa Spring Valley Schools thrive!

Academics
Accountability: The school board is an elected body and should reflect the will of the voters in the curriculum, budget, and culture of the district.
Accessibility: In a time when there is tension between the school boards and parents, I want to be present to hear the needs of all community stakeholders.
Academics: We should hold our students to high academic standards and help them to reach it.
My plans
As a school board member, I would:
Be responsive to the people of the community.
Work with students, parents, and teachers when dealing with school issues
Develop creative ways to inspire excellence in our students
Show up to events and meeting with community stakeholders
Be accessible and transparent through social media
